Rory Putnam, AA, NR-P, I/C
President-CEO/Owner
Rory has served over 30 years in EMS and Emergency Management in private, municipal fire-based and federal government contracted EMS agencies and still works part-time as a Paramedic for EMS services in Maine. He serves as Lead Instructor for EMTS Paramedic programs in northern MA. He holds multiple instructor certifications from FEMA including Incident Command and Emergency Response to Terrorism. He has also served as Assistant Professor of EMS serving as the Clinical and EMT Basic Coordinator, EMS Department, Northern Essex Community College, Lawrence, MA. He has been a Fire-EMS Department Deputy Chief, Captain and Supervisor and Officer in several EMS agencies including working for the Coast Guard as a civilian Paramedic Coordinator. His areas of specialty have concentrated on EMS education, customer service and patient care issues, safety, emergency management and improving quality care. He is a frequent speaker at several state and national EMS conferences and has authored several articles for EMS journals and peer-reviewed online CEU programs.

John R. Brophy, MSHS, BA, FACPE
Vice President of Leadership Development and Fire Service Training
John R. Brophy, MSHS, BA, FACPE began his EMS and Fire Service Career over 38 years ago as a volunteer. He has held front-line and leadership positions in for-profit, non-profit, and municipal organizations in multiple states. He is a retired Fire Captain and IFSAC Level II Instructor. He was recognized as Michigan’s Eastern Region Fire Instructor of the Year in 2018. He is also the recipient of a Lifesaving Valor Award, and three Firefighter of the Year Awards. He has developed and presented a variety of fire, EMS, and leadership topics at the local, state, and national level including Firehouse Expo, EMS Today, EMS Expo, and the Michigan Fire Service Instructors’ Conference. His EMS leadership roles included operations, communications, education, compliance, safety & risk management, performance improvement, accreditation, and academic research. He is a Fellow in the American College of Paramedic Executives (FACPE). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership from Bellevue University and a Masters Degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Emergency Medical Services Leadership from The George Washington University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University – Chicago. He is the author of numerous trade journal articles and books on topics related to leadership. John was also a US Navy Corpsman with service domestically and overseas.
