LifeStar Response Services: Researched due diligence in setting up a buyout of General Ambulance in MA, including business expansion options, operations and marketing, contract negotiation, state and regulatory issues.
Union Ambulance, ME/MidCoast SAR:
This unique consulting contract helped Union set up a search-and-rescue team, the MidCoast SAR Team and determine needs for equipment and training.
Monhegan Emergency Response Service:
We consulted on SOP development, vehicle planning, grant planning, educational needs and fundraising.
McGregor Ambulance Corps: We helped them achieve a 2007 Assistance to Firefighters EMS Section Grant, which enabled purchase of communications and MDT equipment and safety related software packages. This improved communications interoperability and regional all hazards planning, and TEMSIS patient care reporting.
North Shore Medical Center: One of our most extensive consulting projects included setting up a medical direction affiliation agreement and program development to meet new Massachusetts OEMS rules, including CQI, run reviews, provider competencies and remediation, and simulation training.
Beauport Ambulance Service:
This contract assisted the service in completing CAAS Accreditation, including developing SOPs for communications, creating disaster preparedness response plans, and filing the application. It also developed and operated the service in house education program for 4 years.
Sacopee Rescue:
This contract assisted the service in completing Quality Assurance Audits and an Operations Assessment including identifying items that needed attention for future planning. It also includes some QI based education.
