Service Description

The body, for all it holds, is essentially a bunch of big holes! But those holes have a purpose. What we call body cavities contain organs in several areas and protect them from injuries. However, they are not impervious and can be damaged quite easily with enough traumatic force. It's all about position when dealing with body cavity injuries and it's important to note that this position can be fluid when treating some trauma. A good clinician should go on the assumption that there may be crossover injuries and keep an eye out for signs and symptoms that might indicate such an issue. This course will take us on a Hole-y journey through the body to look at various body cavity trauma and how we should approach it in assessment and treatment. This course is 1 hr, MA and ME approved, NH and NREMT accepted. *It may be purchased individually or as part of our All Access Pass so you save!* This is an online Distributive Education (DE) program and can be completed by you anytime 24-7.

Courses booked are subject to a 25% booking cancellation fee. Courses rescheduled will not be charged a fee. Cancellations MUST be made 24 hours or more before classes or a 50% fee will be charged.
